There are some people who come into your life who you will always remember -- for better or for worse. Kelly Decker will always be in my "for better" category. I first met Kelly when I was a shell of myself. What I knew about Kelly from the beginning even before I signed the contract was that she was experienced, chock full of integrity, and not afraid of a challenge. I had a sense I would need someone like that to represent me. I was/am that dreaded difficult client with the messy case that people advise you to avoid being when you divorce. Kelly tempered my expectations and told me the truth. She did everything she could to attempt to settle at mediation and even after that, yet my case went to trial. As risky as it felt not to settle, the bigger risk for me was not to fight for my young child's best interest. The tireless work that Kelly and her incredible team (shoutout to Dawn, Dajana, and Beth ) did on my behalf will positively impact my life and my son's life for years to come. In hindsight, I would do many things differently during the process, but I will be forever grateful that I hired Kelly Decker Law and won't hesitate to do it again in a heartbeat.
