Mr. Cooke is a fantastic attorney. He has helped my family for 3 years now. His cost is reasonable and fair. Mr. Cooke shows up to court with a positive attitude and shows professionalism. He helped me when no other attorneys wanted to take the case due to it having to be transferred from another jurisdiction. Other attorneys didn't want the hassle, extra work and wanted easier cases, while Mr. Cooke easily tackled it. His staff have all been very nice to me, and even at times dealt with my emotions in dealing with court. I highly recommend Mr. Cooke.

We initially reached out to this firm with hope, believing they might assist with a very straightforward stepchild adoption matter - one we had once paused with this firm (two years ago, when they were clearly much kinder people) but were ready to resume. I was transparent from the start about past struggles we've had with attorneys, including one case of gross misconduct so egregiously unethical that I reported him to the Texas BAR (which resulted in formal disciplinary action). Up until that point, the firm's tone was warm and welcoming. But the moment I mentioned the prior complaint, the mood changed entirely. The assistant, who had been friendly, suddenly became cold and began asking invasive, irrelevant questions about that past issue - questions that had nothing to do with our current case. The conversation quickly pivoted to "we'll see if we can even take this on," as if we were suddenly being put on trial. Despite this, I remained polite, thanked them for their time, and followed up with an email providing additional details about our case, as they had requested. What followed was complete silence -- no phone calls, no voicemails, only a curt email (misspelling my name, no less) stating they would not take the case. No explanation, no context, no courtesy, no backbone. Frankly, their behavior was both unprofessional and cowardly. As someone who regularly works with general counsel in my own career, I found their conduct baffling, off-putting, and frankly entirely unacceptable. When I shared this experience with attorney colleagues, they were equally appalled and concerned. This firm's handling of our simple inquiry, with previous history with them no less, raises serious questions about their professionalism, judgment, and client respect. Please, I plead with you - pause if you are considering this company. You likely already have sensitivity and emotions around your case, like we do; do not let them compound that. They are not who they once were, sadly.

Mr Cooke was able to get positive outcomes for my custody case as well as lifting a warrant from years ago. He handled both cases impeccably and was always available to answer any questions, or concerns in a timely manner. I absolutely recommend his services. I am so grateful for his help and the fantastic outcome he provided with his services. Thank you so much for taking on my case with so many intermingled parts and helping me get the outcome we wanted.
