I would recommend John Shergold to anyone who needs a lawyer. He has taken care of my case that is coming to a year in October. He is straight forward and to the point. He is short and sweet. I never had to worry about work being done because he kept tabs on my case and informed me of where he is at in the process. Still a ways to go with my case but I would not be able to say my charges have been dismissed with out John and his firm and the grace of God. Again, if your looking for someone to get to the point and get things done, choose Hodge and Shergold!

Called to schedule a consultation. Shergold called me back spent 5 minutes asking me how I got his number (like who referred me) then asked me questions to which I could not answer. I began reading off a document (the whole reason for the consult) to which he cut me off saying he didn't need to me read the document, in fact he didn't need to "put his eye balls on it". He said he could take me in and it was going to be $200 for a 1.5 hr consult. He said we'd likely have to go to court so I'll need an atty, mind you my request was to simply translate a document into terms I could understand. I told him that I would think about going in the following day, and before I could finish my sentence, he cut me off again and said "well good luck then. I'm not going to waste my time over the phone with you. I can't just give away my services I need to make money. I'm highly educated. You going to need me but good luck. You know where to find me." His response was unwarranted; I never asked for a handout! I was willing to pay and he'd know that if he hadn't jumped to conclusions. He ended our conversation by hanging up on me. And for this, he gets ZERO stars, if I could. Attorneys should have empathy and compassion for their clients. This money driven behavior also drives clients away. FYI, I uploaded my document to chat GBT which successfully translated the document from "legalese" into laymen's terms. I was also able to negotiate my package to increase my payout and insurance coverage exponentially (thousands of dollars) without the aid of THIS attorney.
