After much research I decided to go with Sandoval and James in Austin even though I live in Houston where there are many many attorneys. It was one of the best decisions I made regarding my brothers death. Over the 4th of July 2025 weekend my brother was a pedestrian hit by a drunk driver and died instantly. He is survived by two other brothers and myself. Long story short these attorneys worked through all that, including my brother not having a Will and obtain a settlement from the insurance company of the driver who killed my brother. But what is REALLY noteworthy is the final numbers. They agreed to take less than the standard fee ON THE CONTRACT so that my brothers and I receive a decent settlement for the death of our brother! What attorney does that now days?! Yes this is a true story! I am a paralegal and I have worked with attorneys a lifetime and that rarely happens.
