I contacted Mr. Moore on behalf of my husband, who was diagnosed with terminal cancer while still under doctor's care for a worker's comp case. Unfortunately, my husband passed before he could get the settlement papers signed. In this state, the claim died with him and the insurance company legally didn't have to pay anything more. I feel that most lawyers would have figured they weren't going to make a cent off my case and would not have wasted another minute on it. I contacted Kevin after severely injuring my left knee on the job due to no fault of my own.. Kevin promptly contacted me back himself rather than a staffer or paralegal ! He actually seemed like he cared about my painful, and distressing situation. After that I became discouraged and called Kevin to drop my case due to the fact that the work comp doctor said according to my xray there was basically nothing wrong with me other than a sprain and that that they would give me a few sessions of physical therapy.Kevin recommended that I do not let them do that, and to call him if I changed my mind. After that my boss and others in the corporate office were trying to get me to go back to work ASAP. The following week I saw a different work comp doctor and I asked her to release me if I just had a sprain,she said no way she would release me that I needed an MRI. Well, I had the MRI and it showed a torn meniscus and a 6mm bone chip...at that point I called Kevin and let him know that I needed to go forward. He was kind caring, professional..and ready! I had the surgery and the doctor that performed it (Dr.Wieck who did a great job) also found a severed ACL which did not (according to them) Show on MRI. I am currently 2 weeks post op in therapy. Thus far Mr. Kevin A. Moore has been exemplary in keeping the corporation accountable,when it was looking like they were running me around. I will update following finalization of my case
