My husband and I paid him upfront to represent us for an adoption case, regarding my daughter from a previous relationship. He gained my confidence by saying that he himself, had adopted his wife's daughter from a previous relationship and was familiar with the process. Months went by and I heard nothing from Bo. He wouldn't answer my texts or phone calls to provide any updates. When I could get him to respond, he always just stated that he was working on it and provided some excuse as to why it was being held up. My husband and I asked for the case number multiple times, and he refused to provide it. We finally had enough and looked further into it and found out that he did no work on our case at all. There was no case number and nothing had ever been filed with the court. He was pretending to serve my ex papers, for almost a full year. When we confronted him, he said he would pay us our money back and then completely ghosted us. He also tried to guilt us by telling us he had a "baby on the way" etc. I have proof in the form of text messages, emails, etc and would be happy to attach pictures to my review. My husband and I have a baby ourselves, but that didn't stop him from stealing from us. Please due your due diligence and research a lawyer before you hire them. Don't make the same mistake we did, because now we are left devastated, starting from square one
