I filed a formal complaint filed with Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility regarding George. Some background: George assisted me with a business dispute. After we had concluded, I received my billing and found there were several errors. One of which was a 'no charge' clearly labeled, that I had in fact been charged on. I went back and forth with George on this for a couple of weeks before he reimbursed me the money. Additional errors I was charged for pertained to administrative problems, such as him being unable to locate records on his computer, a winter storm, and typo revisions in his drafts. In one instance, I was charged 30 minutes for his 1 word 'OK' reply to my 2 sentence email. George himself admitted to having some billing software issues, yet did not want to resolve the matter with me.
