It is my privilege and gratitude to recommend the brilliant important work of an estate attorney, Michael Crowder, at Kennerly, Montgomery & Finley P.C. . This past year, 2024, I had tried to get perspective on a family trust, that my father set up, for his beneficiaries. The trust included a fifty acre farm, that my father used to take care of his beloved horses and other animals, during and after his thirty years of medical practice. The chosen trustees wanted to liquidate the farm, but a newly appointed trustee by the prior trustees, did not liquidate the farm.He would prevent all from visiting thefarm, whie When the trustee sold the farm in 2021, for cash, I needed legal advice. After some research, I read about Mr. Crowder as a "top forty under forty professionals in 2024", in Knoxville. I called his firm, and asked if he would be willing to review my father's trust, and help clarify my questions as a beneficiary, after the trustee and I were in disagreement. We set up an appointment to discuss my concerns. When I went to meet with Mr. Crowder, I was welcomed by a wonderful office staff, to wait in a conference room, overlooking the river and my father's prior work site of Baptist Hospital. Mr. Crowder kindly reviewed my issues with the trustee and the parameters of my father's trust. After discussing my questions, this brilliant attorney, Mr. Crowder, offered to mediate for the transparency of the trust, first and foremost. After signing a contract, Mr. Crowder worked steadily to focus the matters of the trust. For one year he had reviewed all, negotiated and gave counsel, to resolve my issues with the trustee. Mr. Crowder stayed the course, and actually won a settlement that I believe would honor my father. I not only highly recommend Mr. Crowder's legal counsel, and representation, I am sure he would help families setting up trusts, estates and keep the family's important information clear, for the estate, so it would not end up in such distress. In summary, I was provided legal advice and counsel, which helped me at every step of our process. We resolved this matter and I am no longer overwhelmed with any contract issues for honoring my father's trust and legacy. This was all due to Mr. Crowder's gifted legal work. One elder friend of my mother's asked how I found this attorney and I just said it was a miracle, and blessing. She also agreed and affirmed that this firm has impeccable attorneys, as she also had benefited from this legal firm for helping her with will and other important family trust issues. As I begin a new chapter, I trust the best to those who are needing the counsel of Mr. Crowder and his inspiring legal talent, at Kennerly, Montgomery & Finley P.C.

We had a very unfortunate experience with Michael Crowder in handling our estates property dispute. His lack of concern, untimely communication and unwillingness to negotiate with the other parties on our behalf has lead to our matter being unresolved and in worse condition than prior to his employment.

I hired Richie Brabham to handle an estate matter. I honestly wish I hadn't. My realtor and I had asked Richie for a power of attorney from the beginning because I have 6 siblings. It would have made things a lot easier. However, he never provided one but charged me for the calls where he states it was me calling for a power of attorney. I had to collect 6 signatures for every document I needed signed which was a hassle. I would have to email him multiple times when I had questions. In some cases he never responded and I had to figure it out myself.....but he would charge me for responding to emails. I have had attorneys that were worth every penny. That's not Richie Brabham.

We've been very fortunate to work with Bill Mason at KMF on a variety of complex legal and transactional matters involving capital formation, intellectual property, and health care services. He always provides the highest quality of legal advice but also uses his knowledge and experience to help you reach the best business decision. Bill is an excellent lawyer and advisor who I recommend highly.
