Absolutely do NOT hire any of these attorneys. Hiring them was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. I paid a $3,800 cash retainer to file an emergency custody petition to protect my son -- and not only did the attorney fail to do his job, but in my experience, he completely misrepresented what was happening with my case. He told me my ex parte petition had been filed, denied, and that he even met with a judge about it. He billed me for that work. But when I went to the county clerk, I was told there was no record of anything ever being filed -- no petition, no notes, no meeting. I was being billed for work that, according to the clerk's office, did not occur. To me, this felt deceptive and incredibly unethical. Because he did not file the emergency petition like he claimed, my son remained in an unsafe situation. I trusted him to act quickly and responsibly, and in my experience, he did neither. The billing was full of "errors," including charges for a supposedly free consultation and inflated time for emails. Only after I confronted these discrepancies did he offer a partial refund -- and then tried to have me sign a liability waiver before handing over the money. When I refused to sign, the refund was withheld. That alone spoke volumes. Throughout this entire process, he gave me contradictory information, pressured me to withdraw my petition, warned me that I could rack up $8K-$10K more, and then casually mentioned he had taken a new job as a public defender -- all while supposedly representing me privately. Based on my personal experience, the conduct I witnessed was unprofessional, misleading, and harmful. I would never recommend this firm to anyone. If your case involves your child's safety or any serious matter, please find someone who is honest, competent, and transparent -- because that is not what I experienced here. I walked away feeling taken advantage of, misled, and deeply disappointed. I strongly urge others to avoid this firm altogether. I also encourage people to read reviews on multiple platforms, not just Google, to get a full picture of others' experiences as well.
