I first 3 way called Mr. Brent with my father on the line as I was recommended him due to my father's friendship with Mr. Brent. In the initial phone call I explained my unfortunately situation and that I was arrested due to breaking an order of protection.
Fast forward to the day before the trial and his assistant told me that she had been avoiding the emails and phone calls of my wife's lawyers bc they weren't offering much.....turns out they were trying to compromise and make it possible fir me to be with my son on his birthday. She nor Craig ever mentioned any deal or offer.
The day of court mr. Brent asked if I'd been arrested for violating the order and claimed that I'd never told him. It's literally the reason that I called him in the first place. And upon checking the recording I made of our initial phone call, I heard him repeat it back to me 3 times. Yet, l He denied knowing snd didn't have a copy of the police report which had vital information that would have made a difference in the hearing.
He took every offer they made and didn't fight for me at all. He may be a great estate lawyer but he's a horrible defender. You can represent yourself and save the 2500$ non refundable retainer!
