Mr. Scott was highly recommended by another attorney and we were very happy with Real Estate transaction Mr. Scott handled for us. Very professional, accommodating making himself available for all parties involved. This was out first time using this law office but if I ever need a real estate attorney in the future I will definitely use Setzler & Scott again. We were always treated with respect and never felt rushed. Mr. Scott took his time and answered all our questions. Every time I called I was able to talk to Mr. Scott and always felt important as his client. All of his staff are very nice, personable and respectful. I highly recommend using Setzler & Scott for any of your Real Estate needs.

Joe Vasquez has been in charge of settling the estate of my aunt. It has now been 3 1/2 years and the estate is still not settled. He nor his team have made any proactive communications to the potential heirs of the estate during this time. In addition, he only responds to less than half of any requests for an update on the status. There is another review here with the same criticism of him - so this seems to be his standard behavior.

Showed up for appointment. Came in office door, ended up being the back door. Was greeted by a office personal who was not wearing a mask. He directed us to the front of the office where we were greeted by another employee who was not wearing a mask. Then the employee without sterilizing her hands and removing a sterile mask from a sterile package, she simply placed a used mask on and walked up to the front desk with a mask. Stated that we were required to wear a mask. Then Mr. Scott came out and stated that this was a private business and until he knew that everyone was vaccinated and that the virus was totally gone. That he would require the masks. Now I told him that I don't have a problem with a policy, but that I do have a problem with ignorant policy. I asked him if he sterilized his hands before he removed the sterile mask from a Sterile package., which he had not and then got upset. I refuse to trust any legal matters with someone who cannot follow actual rules for donning PPE.

Setzler & Scott, PA handled my mother's estate work for a reasonable cost, and also handled the closing when I sold her house. Mr. V does an excellent job, and I count on him to provide legal advice for my personal and business transactions. Highly recommend this law firm.

I DO NOT recommend using Joseph Vasquez as an Estate attorney. He is the attorney my stepmom chose for my fathers estate. Neither my stepmom or the attorney stay in contact with us. My father passed away 2 1/2 years ago and we are still going round and round about the estate. My brother, sister, and myself have called them over and over, also leaving messages and no one ever calls us back. This has been a complete nightmare. I wish that we could have gotten a new attorney and a new personal representative to represent our fathers estate. Please do not use attorney Joseph Vasquez unless your want the estate planning dragged out forever. We've also called probate court and they have been waiting for the attorney to send paperwork in that is now in delinquent standing. Please DO NOT waste your time. Find a different attorney to represent you loved one.
