DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT contact this group, especially if you are not from this county!! On 5/19/24 while vacationing, I received a ticket for 50 in a 45. After returning home, I contacted this law group on 6/13/24 and paid them $400 to represent me, was told I would not have to appear in court since I live 4 hours away, and this was an easy traffic ticket case. I was told my $400 would cover everything, my ticket would be handled, and if anything, I may have to pay a small court fee but nothing more since I had a clean record and the ticket was just for 5mph over. This was the ONLY time I spoke to an attorney. Once they received my $400, no other contact has been made!! My court date was scheduled for 7/18/24 so on 7/22/24 I called since I had not heard anything and left a message with the secretary and was told I would be contacted which to this date I STILL HAVE NOT! BUT WAIT it gets better!! For several months (yes, I have documented times) I called plus sent weekly emails and was told the same response "Someone will call you back" LIES every time I called! I assume all is well UNTIL, 1/7/25, I receive a summons in the mail stating I am to appear in court on 1-21-25 for a roster meeting!! I called the Liars office to inquire and was told "It is being handled, and I do not need to appear" I was told this by the same secretary who had lied to me in the past. On 2-4-25 I received yet another summons in the mail stating I was to appear in court on 2/18/25 to serve as a defendant for a trial!! Called them back, guess what? Same response given to me. Keep in mind, we are coming up on a YEAR from my original ticket date and I HAVE YET TO BE CONTACTED IN ANYWAY FROM THIS "LAWYER"!! Freaking out, no response from anyone, and on 3/5/25 I received a letter in the mail from the Solicitor's Intervention Program stating I must pay for and attend a driving class and serve 4 hours of community service and only had TWO WEEKS to get this done. LIKE WTH?! I was given a ticket for 5 MPH over the limit and have a clean driving record and now I'm having to do all of this! It was like a bad dream and the law office were ZERO help because, yep you guessed it, zero communication nor updates. To receive any information on my case, I called the courthouse myself and they let me know what had happened plus I thought the program might have been a scam, so I wanted to make sure it was legit, and they referred me to the program center. After contacting the program center, I asked why this is so rushed and they said "I had been given plenty of notice over the past couple months" I asked who they had been giving the notice to since this mail was the first I had heard of this. I found out the center had been leaving messages as well with this law office and could not get in contact either so after two months they mailed me to try to contact someone. I told them to remove all the contact information they had for them, and I would be handling it myself. I asked if it was normal for people with no driving record and given a ticket for 5 MPH over to have to take this class and she said, "Well your lawyer requested it!" I paid $400 to this firm, and they REQUESTED IT?! ABSOULTY ABSURD! In summary, I had to pay $291.20 service fee included, plus $30.16 for a DONATION! (The donation was to avoid community service, how covenant right?) Not living in this county, I had to take the class locally AND had to pay $75 since the $291.20 was only to get me "Applied" for the class!! WTH?! I also lost a half day of work due to the four-hour class! Completed the class on 5/7/25, almost one year to the date from getting my 5mph over the speed limit ticket and now it is a couple months past it and STILL NO contact from this LIAR office. Asking, why not just pay for the ticket? Well, my insurance would have gone up several thousand a year and that's just as absurd as this money grab, I went through! Truly a nightmare, but I wanted to share my HORRIBLE experience in hopes no one else will contact this firm and go through this!
