I realize my complaint is not earth shattering but nevertheless points to a certain lack of professional etiquette by Emery Law Firm. We were selling our condo. Emery represented the buyer who chose a closing date of 31 July. We made packing, moving, cleaning, motel, and final walkthrough plans based on their date. With just over a week to go Emery informs us closing is rescheduled for 1 August because they only have one real estate attorney in the office. They surely knew this when the closing date was chosen. Additionally they charged us for one day's HOA fee for 1 August although we were no longer residing in the condo and had no control over the change of date. Stay classy Emery Law LLC!

The Emery Law is the worst attorney office, cold face, rude, unprofessional, double charged than other attorney offices. They never respond the phone call, email quickly and close on Friday. STAY AWAY this office!! She charged the closing costs for cash buyers: Attorney fee $650 Title search $410 Title binder $120 Administrative fee $150 Documents preparation $250 Courier fees $50 Wiring fee $45 FedEx $35 Title insurance $$$ It's way high than other attorney offices.

Had a closing done with them and recommend everyone stay away. They overcharged big time. It was a cash sale and closed in 1 week. They charged $650 for there fee, then there was a $150 for administrative fee, then there was $250 for documentation fee. This is all fee's that is for them. Was told it would be $400-$500 and ended up paying them $1050 just for there firm. Other fee's as well but those ones were normal. They are the biggest rip off on the beach!!! Rest assured the next closing I have will not be with them. #BIGGESTSCAMMERS!!

If time is of the essence and you want an attorney's office that can get the job done quickly and correctly look no further. I have had several closings with Emery Law and Melanie and her staff are honest and hardworking! I can't imagine doing business anywhere else!
