I'm writing this review to share a very disappointing experience involving attorney Carolyn Baird at Jones Law Firm, in the hopes it will help others avoid the same situation. A close friend of mine hired Mrs. Baird to handle her will and estate planning. While her estate was sizable, there is absolutely no justification for the outrageous $22,000 fee she was charged for what should have been a routine process. It's clear that Mrs. Baird took advantage of the size of the estate rather than charging a fair and reasonable rate. Estate planning requires integrity, transparency, and professionalism--none of which were demonstrated here. I'm posting this review to warn others: ask questions, request detailed estimates, and get a second opinion before trusting this firm with something so important. I sincerely hope this helps prevent someone else from going through the same experience--and that no one else becomes a victim like my friend was.

0/0- The receptionist (a guy) so rude and not very pleasant to talk with. Had an attitude from the start of the call and was very unprofessional by hanging up on callers. What a joke of a law firm I would not recommend this firm! Take business else where!!!

So I'm calling attorneys about doing a trust and trying to decide on one that will do the best job for me. The receptionist at this firm hung up on me. I could hear him give a huge sigh over the phone. Yes, I'm old and have questions but it's a complicated and expensive process so... Guess I'm not doing business with Stephen Potts!!!

We chose the Jones law firm because of recommendations of friends. Our son is autistic and has learning disabilities, he turned 18 and we had to get custody to continue to make decisions on his behalf. They did a great job and covered everything we needed. Highly recommend.
