Attorney Aaron Decker at Anzalone Law withheld my documents because I fired him for poor communication and neglecting my civil cases. I requested all of my records multiple times via email, but when I received the thumb drive, it only contained a fraction of what I asked for. When I called his office, they told me they'd send "a couple more pages," with no explanation for why the full set wasn't sent initially. It's clear he didn't send all my documents because I terminated his services. Withholding my records is a violation of my legal right to receive them. I will be filing a formal complaint regarding his unprofessional conduct. I'm thankful I switched attorneys--Decker's failure to provide my full records is ethically unacceptable and disappointing.
