They represented a company that caused major loss by the "service" they provided. They didn't care about getting their client and just send a demand letter without their client going through the normal course of action and exhausting all options. It's problematic and extortion to file legal documents to "collect" money without those processes. It gives the company an out so they don't have answer to customers. They know better.
