After I got PTSD and TBI and permanently disabled as a Wildland Firefighter here in Southern Oregon I applied for SSDI however in my day Firefighters worked tax free so for over 20 years I had nothing withheld from my Fire Pay so when I first applied for SSDI I was told that I did not have anything paid in to SSDI so I applied for SSI instead but was turned down so I hired an SSI Attorney RB who nursed SSI for 7 long years, reapplication after reapplication and apeal after apeal with no results so I fired that Guy and hired Heather Holt and 6 months latter I was Awarded SSI.
