If you are actively trying to apply for Social Security Disability, I highly encourage you to connect with Social Security Law Center. Whether it be your first time or 100th time in being denied by the Social Security Administration. It doesn't cost a thing just to consult with their attorney, Teresa, and as long as your proven diagnosis meets the social security approval standards, she will help you through the entire process and fight hard to get you approved. Please understand that Teresa is your advocate, but you MUST be your own advocate too. It is a long and drooling process but do NOT give up and patience will be key. Be sure you do everything that is required from you whether it be for Social Security or the Attorney.. Oklahoma's approval rate is only 4% in approvals unless you have ALS and terminal conditions. I highly recommend to start applying through her the first time rather than waiting 9-12 months to hear you are denied. If you do find yourself in that boat and applied the first time with the denial, definitely be sure to call on the Social Security Law Center immediately to help with the appeal (which is a tight window to get the appeal processed) and hopefully you won't have to start completely over. I can't press this enough, DO NOT give up and follow EVERYTHING that is asked by you. Please understand you are just a number to the Social Security team and they fail to even get everything before their denials, but your Attorney will not! If you get in front of a hearing Judge in this process, you will actually be someone to that Judge and you get the time in your testimony to share YOUR story and the reason you are filing in the first place.

Teresa and her team did a great job in getting my sons disability approved. We had applied once before, and were denied. Not only was SSLC highly effective, they were also compassionate and kind.
