I believe it's important for anyone seeking legal representation to know, if you need representation for yourself or a loved one, I recommend looking elsewhere. After weeks of leaving voicemails and asking his receptionist, Kaitlin, to please forward him a message, Tim Gilpin (i.e., the attorney) finally took a minute out of his day and called me on March 28, 2025, at 5:53 p.m., just to rush me for answers. For example, Tim Gilpin asked, "How is your employer discriminating against you?" I answered, they are discriminating against me in regard to a protected status, that is, disability, real or perceived. Tim subsequently asked, "How...?" When I tried to give him context and answer him quickly, being that he asked an open-ended question that required context, he repeatedly interrupted me and said, "You're not answering me." I explained how I just got up from a nap and was trying to answer as fast as possible, but Tim didn't care. Instead of treating me with respect and letting me explain my story, Tim Gilpin kept interrupting me just to tell me I wasn't giving him an "answer." Last time I checked, context matters as wells as the facts. Also, discrimination does NOT come in one form. Patience and respect is what I gave Tim Gilpin and his firm, until Tim, himself, rushed me and talked down to me as if I didn't know basic law or do my homework. There is Federal and State law and both are important. Furthermore, any case can be taken to court and potentially won. There's an old adage that says, "You can indict a ham sandwich." Of course, this is in reference to criminal prosecution, but the point still stands. Needless to say, two attorneys at two different firms are willing to help me, if my situation results in termination, but I thought I would give this firm a chance, being that it has excellent reviews. Just like the front cover of a book, looks can be deceiving. Overall, Tim Gilpin is NOT an attorney I would recommend to anyone, especially family members. I honestly don't know why he even bothered to call me (he didn't even leave a voicemail this last time). Instead of wasting my time, he could have simply said, in the beginning, "I don't think I can help you." In my opinion, Tim Gilpin reminds me of that stereotypical doctor that you try so hard to get in touch with and get scheduled, but when you finally meet with him and talk to him, he tells you there's nothing that can be done, except to take a prescription. Again, in my opinion, he has terrible bedside manners and no respect, period. I would have given Tim one star, but his receptionist was professional and respectful. IMPORTANT NOTE: Check the lowest ratings and you will find Tim Gilpin arguing with people who left one star reviews. Definitely shows some of his character.
