Slyman Jeffrey D Attorney At Law

There's a paralegal that works for Jeffrey Slyman named Susan Etter, who offered help to my ex-wife (even though I was the client) and admitted to doing so because she had personal feelings that clouded her judgment professionally. I got her on a recorded call saying so, and I reached out to CiceroAdams (who was working with Slyman) and got nothing but attitude from one of the partners (even after I told her that I had proof of her admitting what she did via a recorded call). After I got a new lawyer, the lawyer told me that even though he personally liked CiceroAdams (no idea why) he had to admit that they push people through and don't do the work of making sure everyone gets treated right. Don't go with CiceroAdams or Jeffrey Slyman for your services. Yes, it did affect my separation agreement and it did cost me money. I've held onto the proof in case I need it later, especially since I plan to file a grievance. Who works against their own client?! Apparently these people do.

Mr Slyman was a very easy man to deal with as an attorney but I am terribly disappointed in his research staff. We went to see him and he said he would have his staff research some records and the office calls and said things looked good and we could proceed for a filing fee and attorney fee. I go in and pay the fee and ask several questions. I am reassure that the research and results were done. But wham we are told to come to court to only be told that this could not be done and the judge ask the attorney if he was aware of the law and why the office did not produce the obvious records that was easily pulled! So we get shafted for over 800.00 for something that could of been cleared up at the office and not wasted time and money.. I think Mr Slyman needs to re-evaluate the research staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Slyman has worked tirelessly for my case. The event happened in 2011, and I wasn't indicted until 2 full years after that; after I had moved on with life and was trying to do something for myself. They had a warrant out for my arrest, we were able to get that taken care of. Mr. Slyman fought for us..through everything. But Mr. Slyman explained everything, and I was able to put my future in his hands. Things happened, long story short we went before the original Judge she overturned our motion, and so we decided to take it to the Court of Appeals. The first Judge's decision was reversed and remanded. Jeffrey Slyman was so knowledgeable, confident, and smooth when he gave the oral argument for the Appeal. The State did not have a very strong case against us, so Mr. Slyman blew the State Prosecutor out of the water. The decision was unanimous by these three Senior Appellate Judges, that they concluded that the first Judge had abused her discretion, and they reversed the conviction. It has almost been 5 years and everything has been dismissed through the court. I trusted Mr. Slyman with my future and he delivered. My family and I are forever grateful.

Horrible and unprofessional! Do not waste your time here he does nothing to make you feel like he is going to help! Just an AWFUL EXPERIENCE!
