Sent me a copy of my Mother's Autopsy Verdict (yes, it is public record)from her autopsy from 7 months ago. I had never saw this report before, and it was sent to we with an advertisement for his law firm. Even worse, he sent it to my son which caused much emotional distress. We only listed his name and city in the obituary, so a paralegal had to go digging for that info. It brought me right back to the day my Mom died. Could he have done it - sure it's all public record. Should he have done it, definitely not. It makes me question the ethics of the firm at large. Of course I sent a response, and as I expected it was never answered. A feel it was a pretty heartless thing to do. It is situations like this one that give lawyers a bad name. Stay away at all costs.
