My family was in the process of buying a new home, and the builder, MI Homes, was not being honest about the finances that were required. My wife and I had Tier 1 credit, and we were putting 20 Percent down on the purchase. The MI Homes finance representative was awful! She initially tried to give us a very high interest rate, and kept raising the rate each time I would call back to get more information on "why" the rate was rising. Attorney Somos then represented my family for the duration of our purchase, including monitoring our closing cost on the home. My husband and I were referred to Tom to have our estate wills reviewed and updated, along with getting another much needed - but always put off -Living Will. Uncomfortable as it seems, Tom made the process very easy and offered thought provoking questions to help us intelligently decide what exactly was right for us. Tom's professional demeanor, caring attitude and laser focus made us thankful for our referral to him and we want to pass this on.

Tom was a nice guy, very professional and always willing to answer questions. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the troubles I had with his office staff obtaining the correct documents in a timely fashion. I ended up having to do most of the legwork on my paperwork, but in the end he was flexible with my payout since he knew I had been furloughed due to the pandemic.

I have been so pleased with the outstanding work that Tom Somos and his secretary Rebecca have done in my case. From the onset, it was obvious that only my needs and concerns were his top priority. And he painstakingly worked at making that very apparent to myself and my wife. We always felt very informed and part of the process. They were always there to answer any questions that we had and always kept us in the loop of what was going on with our case.
