They truly do not work for you. We had to call and call just for updates. They waited for weeks bc the insurance adjuster was on vacation and got me nothing back for pain and suffering. They took more than I got in the settlement with very minimum work. I wouldn't recommend these people to my worst enemy. 0 Stars.

I contacted McCormick Law Firm in regards to a car accident that I was a victim in. They initially told me that they would handle the medical portion, but not the vehicle damage. They later, when I made it obvious I was uninterested in doing the case without the option of getting my car repaired stated they would have it dealt with.
After signing paperwork, they advised me that they would have their doctor contact me to set up an appointment. This doctor did not call, I contacted repeatedly, was told that they would resend the request and to allow a few days for the contact.
After weeks of doing this, and getting the same situation repeated, I had contacted the number I was provided again. The number came up as temporarily disconnected, so I recontacted the office by way of the main number I had used prior to that contact being given. I was told that should not be like that and that they would reach out to figure out what the issue was.
It took over a month before I finally did receive a call from the doctor they had set up, at which point I refused to deal with them and decided to go to my own doctor. During this time McCormick Law firm never spoke to me about the accident, never requested any information from me in regards to the accident, I assume as they had no intention of dealing with anything beyond the medical.
However; my insurance had reached out to them as they had contacted my insurance to tell them that they were representing me. At no point did they tell my insurance they were only dealing with the medical portion of the damages. As a result my insurance was under the impression any information they needed from me in regards to the accident had to be received from the law firm.
They did contact the law firm trying to determine details of the accident, they had to leave multiple messages and the only information they received was that to the law firms knowledge I had not submitted any video evidence of further evidence showing I was not at fault. They never contacted me to ask about such evidence, they never contacted me to let me know that my Insurance had reached out to request such information.
In fact, the lawyer never spoke to me for months.
My insurance ended up paying out the damages to the offending vehicle occupant. Without ever speaking to me or receiving the information on the accident for my portion. This includes never having received the photos of the accident damages from the police. The lawyer had this. The other insurance company, Geico, refused to collect these photos when the officer filed the report and did not properly upload the images.
I ended up contacting the officer, getting the photos, and submitting them to Geico. Geico did not send this information to my insurance when they made the claim against me.
In order to even discuss this matter with my insurance when I got hit with a letter of Non-renewal, I had to drop the lawyer, because they had told them they were representing me, and did not specify or verify to the insurance that they were involved in the case for medical only. As a result they hurt my case, they have likely cost me any chance of getting my vehicle damages paid for in an accident I was not at fault for, and have caused me to have to scramble to try to sort out my auto insurance.
I contacted the number that had texted me, and told them that I needed to drop them from my case. The first text I received in response to this was that they would send me a form to fill out to terminate the agreement without a lien. Later I received a text from them stating that the case had been reviewed by Cagney McCormick, and they had decided to withdraw from my representation with no lien and I am now free to hire another law firm.
I then received a letter from them stating the basic same information, however; in the letter they made it seem very clear that they were representing this as they dropped me, not the other way around, and suggested that I should "Get a second opinion by my statute of limitations date".
Do not use this law firm.

McCormick Law firm is a trustworthy law firm. They took time to explain the available options, and details along the way. They are not pushy so I never felt pressured. They are lighthearted and easy to talk to, and not intimidating or overbearing. You are treated with respect and empathy which I think seemed pretty sincere. Thank you for not making me feel like just a dollar sign, but a person. I would highly recommend this law firm to anyone.

Excellent service. Responsive and quickly accepted my case and put me in with medical providers in the area. I was a bit skeptical of the "policy limit or nothing" approach, but they really delivered on that and achieved it. Yes it took several months but that is to be expected, I know others with ongoing PI cases going on over 2 years. My assigned attorney Garrett was there when I needed him, which wasn't often, he's an A+ guy and so is his team. Will recommend to others for sure

Having worked for personal injury & med mal attorneys in the past, I expect nothing but 100% and they definitely gave us their all. I never thought I'd actually be the one needing an attorney but after being hit, I knew there was no way our insurance (Geico at the time) was doing everything to get our vehicle repaired or medicals covered. The McCormick Law Firm went above and beyond to make sure everything was not only taken care of, but even more than the at-fault driver's insurance claimed they could cover. I have recommended them several times since and will continue to do so. I really appreciated being able to just relax and take the time to heal and not have to worry about finding repair shops or doctors on my own. Thanks for putting in all the hard work!
