Hired Joe for relief of disability. Sat with him for 2 hours in his office giving him all the info he should have needed. Watched him use another clients documents and just cut out there name and info and put mine in. Should have known then and there how it was going to go. Finally time to go to court and Mr Kearns did not specify which court house we would be going to so after running between the 2 for about 10 minutes I see Joe walking up in his wrinkled suit looking like he just got out of bed. Needless to say we were late for my hearing. Then when we get called to speak to the judge it is revealed my paperwork was filed wrong and prosecution could not access because of that. The judge continued on and let both sides speak. When it's our turn to talk instead of representing me like he was supposed to Joe Kearns says that he'll let me do the talking! Even the judge was shocked at that and said typically the lawyer speaks for the person they are representing. Needless to say if you care about the outcome of your case or even just want a professional do not hire Joe Kearns. Also gave me a price for my case and then charged me more than the agreed price and did not give me change back like this place is a joke. Receptionist is very nice and helpful though

Unfortunately, I had to put one star to leave the review! I would absolutely under no circumstance go to this place for any legal matter whatsoever!!!! If you would like anything done in a timely manner, I would suggest you find another office you will pay for their services just to have your case dropped on someone else's desk to be ignored finally to be picked back up again, so you can be charged again for nothing to be resolved!!!!! They are pretty much holding my deceased father's car for ransom!!!!

If they do not know it , doubt if any other law office in Ashland Ohio does. Have served for and with my family since the 1930s. They know about Ashland history and my neighbors and friends. Highly recommend them and I am just a retired firefighter/paramedic in Ashland.

This man has been holding up my divorce since April and has yet to file the paper work that was requested by the courts in April. Never calls back when you leave messages each week and seems to run bad business as far as I am concerned. Has not even returned the call of his client who paid him. I do not recommend. I could go down a laundry list of things that he has done that are back handed but I'll spare you the time. Hire someone else.

They represented my ex-husband in the custody of our son. There was nothing to fight about; it was just a matter of paperwork. But when I received their letter letting me know they would be representing my ex, all I could do was laugh... hysterically. It was a simple 1-page, 3-paragraph letter that had 17 typos in it, and the attorney signed it. Did he even read what he was signing? If he did and can't see typos, how well is he going to represent you in court? Attention to even the smallest detail is what makes a good lawyer. While that may not seem like a big deal to most people, to me, it showed that if they can't even write a letter, how in the world would they be in court?
