I contacted Harmon Law on 01/23/25 to assist with my estate planning documents through my legal plan services. From the start, communication and follow up were poor. I sent Attorney John Blythe six follow up emails over the course of several months, none of which were answered. When I finally received a reply on 04/28/25, it contained information that had already been discussed in my initial consult back in January. On 05/09/25, I received an email stating my documents were complete and to set up an appointment to sign in office. When I called, I spoke with Amy, and advised I was told that I could do a virtual singing before this process began. Amy set up the appointment, but later that day, I received a call back canceling it because they said they needed to overnight documents to me, even though the appointment was more than a week away and I could have easily had the documents by then. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with how long the process had taken (It should not have taken 4 months to complete these standard legal documents), Amy offered to have me speak with the firms Practice Manger, Sharon Listhaus. I declined because I was simply voicing my concerns, not requesting it be escalated. Amy brushed it off, saying she was new and unfamiliar with the process, but promised to speak with her manager and call me back. She never did. On 05/27/25, I called again. Amy remembered our previous conversation and acknowledged her manager was supposed to call me. When I asked to speak to Sharon, I was transferred to her voicemail. Sharon did call back and leave me a message on 05/28/25, but when I returned her call the next day and again on 06/04/25, I received no response. After months of delays, unreturned calls, and lack of follow up, I was never given my estate planning documents. I have since had my estate planning documents completed elsewhere without any issues but based on my experience, I cannot recommend Harmon Law, Attorney John Blythe, or Practice Manager Sharon Listhaus. The lack of professionalism, communication, and follow through was extremely disappointing and I urge others to proceed with caution before entrusting them with sensitive legal matters.
