Vincent Cuocci Law Office

Spoke with Vincent for an hour and he was very informative and straightforward. I can't speak to anything else, but the legal advice I received from him was sound and valid. I'm from Long Island too and therefore I wouldn't say he was indifferent to my cause like the previous review, he's just a straight shooter no nonsense kind of guy. Don't expect him to cry over your issues. He will instead give you a logical legal plan of attack with next steps.

Vincent Cuocci is a terrible attorney and even worse individual. I was referred to him by Legal Shield. Although my attorney fees, court filings and additional services were covered under my membership, Mr. Cuocci still charged me $500 for an "out of network" fee. I only wanted to reopen a case and when I refused his pressure to open a new case (more money for him) he stopped responding to my calls and emails. This went on for 2 months. He cited network issues when he was moving offices as the reason for the delay. He even mentioned his assistant, Laura had been out on vacation and did not forward the line to him. We began working on my case again. At one point I asked him to pause the legal process as I was involved in a car accident, and he obliged and said to just reach back out to him to pick up when I was recovered. When I reached back via calls and emails 3 months later, I was met again with no response for 3 weeks. When I finally reached out to Legal Shield to verify if he retired or went out of business, they informed me his office no longer wanted to handle my case as he did not have time for it. When I asked for the return of my legal fees, Legal Shield informed that his "out of network" fee was bogus, and everything was covered under my membership. I then started the arduous process of fighting for the return of my fees. Vincent explained the fees were used for court filing, but when he was asked to produce the itemized bill of court fees and services, he was refused. He lied! He never touched my case, therefore there was no valid bill to produce. Thankfully, Desiree from Legal Shield corporate was able to help return my fee. She also expressed he was arrogant and condescending when she discussed the matter with him. She said he was a disgusting individual, and she will NEVER refer his office again. I lost 1 year of valuable time in my case that I cannot get back. Vincent Cuocci is a vile human being and leads with unscrupulous, predatory and dishonest tactics. Save yourself, time, money and a headache. DO NOT USE ATTORNEY VINENT CUOCCI. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS!
