I would stay clear from this law firm, they were no help, not only was Mr. Dauerer rude he was useless at the WC hearing. One day before the hearing I go in, to go over the case and Mr.Dauerer says this could have been done on the phone, are you serious?!? The audacity to say that. Then I had to repeat for a 3rd time why my pay was low for the previous year, if he took notes it would have known. Also he likes to interrupt you and not let you speak which I thought would be to my benefit at the hearing but nope. Finally at the hearing, he was a mute while the other attorney ripped us apart. I knew then it was time to find another WC lawyer.

I was referred to this firm by another attorney in the beginning of my case. I was very disappointed with there services. This was and hopefully is my last Comp. case. Needless to say I knew nothing in terms of legalities. With that said,I constantly had to call them regarding my case as I received letters from NYS. I found out answers to my questions WAY after the fact & I felt that I was doing the work that they should've been doing,keeping me informed & up to date. I dealt with several different attorneys throughout my short time with them & nobody seemed to be on the same page. The new firm that I hired had their stuff together & kept me informed every step of the way. At the end of my case, OGA had the audacity to take a fee from my settlement,even though they had already been paid throughout their time on my case. They should've given that money to my current attorney & not taken anything at all for their lack of effort on my case. They deserved $0 for what they did. If I didn't have to give them a star,I would give them nothing as that is what they did for me.

I retained the services of OG&A Law for my Workers Compensation case. I could not have made a better choice. This firm is organized, on top of things, professional, and friendly. The entire staff runs like a well oiled machine. I want to personally thank Mr. Goldstein, Mr. Lahey, and especially Mr. Dauerer and his support staff. Should I ever need their services again, or meet anyone who does, they will always get my highest recommendation. Thank you!

This is by far not intended as any kind slandering. This is just my personal opinion and my experience. I used This attorney office for two workers comp cases. I got nothing for my first injury but workers comp money. I returned to work prematurely due to lack of funds and bills needing to be paid. I then got hurt again and went to them not knowing any better. I have been out of work for over 6 months and still have not received a court date, and funds nothing. I have to contact them when ever i have an issue. Workers comp stopped paying me and i gad to contact them to let them know. They then notified me that workers comp stopped payment because of my IME appointment. The office never contacted me. None of me case was i told about anything. Evertime i questioned the case i was told that nothimg has changed. I felt as if nothing has changed because noone was pushing nor fighting for my case. Now i am home still out on comp and my car insurance was ready to lapse, cell phone got cut off, electricity is about to be shut off and still have not received anything .no money no update nothing form the office or workers comp. Even after i went to the IME. I would not recommend this law firm. Even if it is free.

The 5 stars are for Lou Dower who is an exceptional lawyer and is the reason I have worked with OG&A.. He is extremely professional, thorough, and actually cares about his clients.
