We chose this lawyer because he was recommended as someone experienced in handling convenience store sales. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but professional. He was unresponsive, inattentive, and took weeks to address a simple issue-- causing unnecessary and significant delays. Due to our own error, we mistakenly paid $2,000 upfront instead of just the retainer. The transaction ultimately didn't go through, and the only work done was drafting an initial contract. We requested a refund for the amount beyond the retainer, but we have yet to receive a response-- months later. Throughout our brief dealings, he made several comments about being "too busy" and only working with "large businesses," making it clear that our matter was not a priority. No client should ever be made to feel that their matter is beneath a professional's attention. If a case is too "small," it should not be taken on in the first place. Our experience was deeply frustrating, disappointing, and completely unprofessional.
