Completely Unprofessional and a Scam - Stay Away I paid $2,500 to start a lawsuit with Alan Sasson, which was supposedly a "promotional rate." After handing over all the required paperwork, I faced nothing but delays and unprofessional behavior. Alan's office kept moving--every time I tried to drop off more paperwork, I was told he had relocated. I was sent to East 12th Street, only to be told he had moved again. He blamed COVID for the delays, and for over two years, he kept assuring me he was working on my case. After three years, he claimed it was still delayed due to COVID. To my shock, I later found out that my case had actually been disposed of without my knowledge, and he had lied to me about it being active the whole time. When I confronted him, he blamed a staff member and promised to reopen the case, but after five years, I never received a call back. I asked for a refund, and he claimed the money was already spent on the case and attorney. It's clear this office is a scam. The 5-star reviews are all fabricated and pumped up by his office staff. I even got a call from his receptionist asking me to leave a 5-star review, which only adds to the dishonesty. Do yourself a favor and save your money. This office is a complete fraud. I called 311, and they directed me to a site with information on his cases, but it didn't help. I wish there was a better way to file a complaint and make sure others don't fall into the same trap.

Alan is a caring and smart attorney. He advises his clients in a professional, warm and thoughtful way. He both gets results and also makes sure the client knows he is on their team. I highly recommend him , especially for litigation and real estate matters.
