We had a very disappointing experience with this firm. They submitted an immigration petition for my parents well past the deadline, which we only discovered years later after consulting with another law firm. Since then, we've heard zip from them. Heartbreaking to see how they took advantage of my recently immigrated parents, who trusted them with their hopes and hard-earned money. I urge others to be very, very careful.

I usually look for reviews but not the one who actually post them. I want to start by saying that we were very skeptical with immigration attorneys as a whole since my mother's case was in the middle of President's Trump election and re-election years so we were already going in with doubts. Started in 2015 with my mother's immigration issues returning into the country. She came into JFK in New York where we actually reside is in NJ which complicated things a lot more. Searching for attorneys that have the caliber of hard cases and the ability to get a reasonable retainer we stumbled across Marcia Kasdan, her daughter and her team. Not only did we have a hard case, they were able to find strategic ways to keep my mother in the country. She moved the court hearings from the state of NY to NJ which help delay some time to gather more discoveries for the case. My mother had a prior case that was pardon on over a decade ago for removal proceedings and the latest one in 2015 where she was confronted again with removal proceedings due to a shoplifting charge. Since she already had a case for deportation, the Judge on the first case pardon her and advised my mother not to do it again if so, she will be deported. Moving forward to 2015, her having issues with mental health caused her to walk out of a store with an item and was arrested again for shoplifting. That's when Marcia and her team came to the rescue. Although a very long and strenuous process that lasted almost 8 years. Through COVID, presidential elections, change in policies with immigration and multiple changes with judges, I can finally put this issue to rest. In January of 2023 8 years after this incident, my mother finally received her legal documents for permanent residency and is now in good standing with the United States. All thanks to Marcia! I could not have asked for a better attorney, very attentive, very knowledgeable and very compassionate. She's stern and straight to the point and will not sugar coat anything but will find a way to solve these issues. Where she gain my trust is when i saw it in her eyes when she said "everything will be okay, hard case yes, but it's not the end of the world". I really felt she had our better interest at heart and it wasn't surrounding money. Again, she's stern, firm but compassionate for the less fortunate. I wish her and her family the best and to continue to advocate for those that cannot speak for themselves. Thanks Marcia!!!

I usually do not write reviews, but the services I got here were phenomenal and it wouldn't be fair If I don't express myself to other people. Lisa is definitely very knowledgeable in this field. I was very confident about my citizenship case, she is very friendly person. Lisa would always be there to answer each and every question. The fees she charged were also very reasonable compared to other lawyers in the area. Overall I strongly suggest you go with she does also know a lot of people including the supervisors in Newark office which would help make you're life very easy. :-)
