On October 15, 2024, I was involved in a motorcycle accident--a head-on collision between my Honda Goldwing motorcycle and a Honda car. Fortunately, the Goldwing, being a large motorcycle, absorbed much of the impact. Although the Goldwing was totaled and my injuries were numerous and severe, I am grateful they weren't worse. I was thrown from the motorcycle onto the car, breaking its windshield. The collision also caused me to break the motorcycle's handlebars with my thighs and its windshield with my upper body or head--I'm still not entirely sure how. My injuries included bruised thighs, bruised arms, a bruised sternum, one broken bone, and 12 stitches across my forehead. Initially, I didn't think my injuries were severe and wanted to go home, but the EMTs insisted on taking me to the hospital, and I am thankful they did. While discussing the accident with a family member, I was advised to seek legal assistance. I made several calls, one of which was to Benson & Bingham. They responded promptly, unlike the others.
