I have been a client of M. Karl Hawkins, LLC for just over two years now. Karl and his team have been a tremendous help through everything. They are always prompt to respond, keep me up to date on any changes or requirements, and talked me through the process every step of the way. Their client portal keeps all of the documents and our messages in one place so I don't have to search through my email if I need to reference something. They are not adverse to working late and working around my schedule to meet or have calls when needed. They are very thorough and helped me make sure everything was in order. Karl has always been professional, but he is also able to empathize and willing to offer advice. I greatly appreciate everything they have done.

Finding ourselves new residents in Missouri, we needed to restate and update all of our family trust, wills and power of attorney documents that we had created in Ohio. A secure document transfer tool, timely correspondence answering our questions, a Zoom meeting with Karl and a quick turn-around of all of our redrafted documents was so helpful and quite impressive. We visited Karl's office only once in order to execute the final documents. Everyone there wore masks, thereby protecting me and my husband. Karl Hawkins updated our estate planning documents. He took his time and met with us even during the pandemic (with all precautions). He was very patient and thorough in answering at least a million questions we asked. He was timely in providing drafts and final document delivery after our signature party at his office. I recommend Karl without reservation for estate planning. I don't know what other law he practices, but I developed a trust relationship such that I am likely to contact him with future legal matters. I'm pretty confident that if he is not well-versed in a particular issue that he would provide me with a solid referral.
