I scheduled a paid consultation about a potential MMPA case and paid $350. I chose this firm because their website states they almost always take MMPA cases on contingency, so I expected that to be an option. However, when the consultation began, the attorney told me he would only take the case if I paid out-of-pocket. The attorney did greet me by name, but he was not familiar with the documents I had already sent. He mentioned he was searching for notes and couldn't locate them, so I had to re-explain the details from the beginning during the paid consultation. If I had known there was no contingency option, I would have chosen not to schedule a paid consult. I also expected my documents to be reviewed beforehand since they were requested and provided in advance. After the consultation, I was asked to leave a 5-star review, but I did not feel comfortable doing that based on my personal experience.

I had the opportunity to meet with Attorney Christian Misner and communicated with his legal assistant Alyx. Both were professional and personable. I walked away from the consult with honest and professional advice. Christian also answered all of my questions and even gave several different options for next steps. Looking forward to working with him (hopefully) to resolve my concerns.
