I have been dealing with her secretary Debbie over at the Poplar bluff office and I paid her almost $2,200 for a bankruptcy and I seen her one time and she seemed very polite. I asked her to take her time because I was dealing with my mother as she was nearing her death. Now her secretary will not let me speak to her at all and still haven't received my bankruptcy but recently I was told this could be done over the phone and then I was really upset and it's been going on 8 years now and I know it only takes 90 days. During that time I had to take care of my mother until she passed away here at home and I explained that to Rebecca when I first asked her and I told her she could stall for a little bit but not no 8 years and then a year later my fiance passed away from severe cancer but the secretary act like she didn't care. All I was told that Rebecca would get the message. They have all my paperwork for my bankruptcy and then I found out that this can be done over the phone Now I'm having heart issues that I've been dealing with over a year and so far I've had seven surgeries so I'll probably have to hire another attorney and get this issue taken care of.

Don't use Janet Brown, makes you lawyer for yourself, takes your money with no result, and wait 2-3 years. Waste of time and money.

Rebecca Burns is horrible. Absolutely 0% communication with clients. She will not return emails or phone calls. She won't even schedule a face to face meeting. She has no difficulty taking money from clients but can't seem to manage to do anything else. Please consider anyone else but her. You will regret hiring her if you do.

Been trying to get a bankruptcy done and over its been almost 3 years. They keep telling me waiting on a court date come on for 3 years. I've never even met Rebecca Burns the attorney have just dealt with the secretary. I've done everything I was suppose to do even did the 69.00 test they said I had to do online. Legal aid paid her but I've paid everything they told me I needed to do. I keep asking about a court date but just get told nope no date yet. 3 years is a little long to wait for a court date.
