I recently contacted this law firm seeking assistance with a legal matter, and I was extremely disappointed with my experience. The guy I spoke with was not only unhelpful but also rude and belittling. Instead of offering support or understanding, I felt dismissed and disrespected throughout the conversation. A simple inquiry was met with condescending remarks, and I left the call feeling frustrated and undervalued. I would not recommend this firm based on the professionalism (or lack thereof) I experienced.

I met with Michael Watkins today. It was terrible. I'm trying to get divorced. I'm staying in a domestic violence shelter. He was not sensitive to my needs at all. It seemed he was taking my husband's side. He told me he felt I was being vindictive, I was not at all. I told him I wanted 2 of my 4 cats and he said it was silly to fight over cats. He asked me what I wanted in the divorce and when I tried to tell him he was not compassionate at all. I didn't have answers to some of his questions and this seemed to really piss him off. He told me over the phone that he would work with me for paying for his service but when I got there that all changed and he had no problem telling me his fees, my dad said he might be able to help me out with paying, Mr Watkins only was interested in making money!! It was still too much! Stay far away from him.., Michael Watkins has no compassion. My husband was literally physically, mentally and verbally abusing me and Michael Watkins told me verbally and mentally abuse doesn't count, how come it doesn't?? My husband made my life a living hell, I was crying in his office from the emotional pain I'm going through, again NO compassion! And I also didn't appreciate being lied to over the phone about him telling me he would give me a deal because of my situation, I'm on disability. It seemed that's all he made clear to me was money while I was there. Zero stars Mr. Watkins. I had so much hope going into his office. What a waste of my time. I am so hurt and angry by the way he treated me!! Unbelievable!

Have your documents ready for him before you go and have everything organized. Yes, he is blunt. Yes, he will ask you what you want to do. Yes, you will have to ask him what options you have based on your priorities if you have no idea what your options are or how it works. I'm sure he comes around a ton of ridiculous requests and you have to be realistic in what you actually want out of this. He has no idea which direction to take you in if you have no plan and you're only showing up with feelings. Label things, have dates, and go from there. The first session was free (that is the consultation) and I received a small discount from him on the formal letter he wrote for me. He's direct and a hard-ass, even as clients, which was emotionally a pain in the moment when I was already feeling so upset by the situation I was in, but he got the job done and I'm sure he would have stuck to his guns to anyone who tried to oppose what he wrote. 5 stars for knowing he would take care of me and feeling like a whole weight was lifted off of my shoulders.

Mr. Watkins represented our disabled daughter in a rather emotional legal matter. He provided calm, clear and solid guidance at a time when we really needed it and he got the matter resolved very satisfactorily in a short period of time. Mike had been recommended to us a strong but caring attorney of genuine integrity, and he lived up to that expectation. His fee seemed very reasonable.

As a landlord in need of legal assistance in evicting troublesome tenants; we have been extremely pleased with the immediate response and professional help in guiding my husband and I through the legal channels necessary to accomplish a positive outcome. Mr. Watkins is a no nonsense attorney, we are extremely happy to say our experience with him was exactly what we needed in finding the best solution to something we were totally unfamiliar with how best to handle. We felt the price was fair and worth the peace of mind to reach the completed end to a most unpleasant situation. We can't say enough good about Ms. Bradley, the Paralegal who made the office visits a pleasure. Her professional and welcoming presence help lift our anxiety knowing she was familiar with our case as well. We were treated as valued new clients and before the close of our eviction case, we were confident we had found an attorney we could trust to help us get our ducks in a row concerning other estate planning needs in the near future We most highly recommend Mike, Mr. Watkins and his office staff to anyone looking for honest answers.
