My husband has been fighting for ss for 5 years,5. Nothing has changed except he has gotten worse. Had a federal appeal and lost because the judge we sued got to reside over the case again and the lawyers never fought for a change of venue or different judge. They said a diff judge allowed her to do that well they should have fought against that because that judge we sued said he was disabled in our video hearing but denied him on paper. Then right before he turned 50 the judge approved him, and said "just be lucky I approved you before you turned 50"! No backpack. We have been waiting because he was approved in March, nothing yet. Then we find out the lawyers got paid from the times we've been waiting and thats considered back pay. 1. He was approved in March so no that's not back pay they owe him from March till now. 2. This lawfirm was all about appealing in a federal level again but then got paid now they are dropping us. They used to be the best for this but now I feel they have too many hands in the pot, and a lot of them are newer?? Not to mention all the phone calls we made and dr.s papers ww had to get for them and the stress of me as the wife breaking my body down to provide for our family. So disappointed right now.

I had a case at federal appeal level they lost but finally won a different newer case with the exact same health dx.Didn't recieve backpay because I receive widows pension.I waited 4 years for nothing I don't get a cent more from disability than I got from widows pension. Went thru my entire savings waiting and waiting.I still won't even get Medicare till May.Than I will be paying more and getting less.I should have never filed.I had to make countless calls to SS and to Parmele.I feel like I did all the work and came out in even worse shape than I was.I don't understand why they took my case?They only take cases they are going to win.But I won nothing so what are they going to take.I don't have anything.Less than when we started 4 years ago.
