I finally found him working for an attorney law firm in St. Louis now. He ran off on our case just like the other reviews mentioned. We paid him in full. Had all our paperwork complete and he never showed up. Then we found him under a different law firm in JcMO and he told us and sent us a new bill under their letterhead and then started the process over again(we already had four court dates under his name/firm). He is a crook and I should have reported him to the MO bar but we were out of state by then and let it fall through the way side. Do not ever work with him. Will add pictures later.

This is the worst possible lawyer you could ever hire. You would be better off to take your retainer and flush it down the toilet. He does not contact you to update you as to the status of your case. He tells you he has filed your paperwork when really he has not. He shows up to court late or not at all. I've spent several months getting haggled by this guy. Art does not send you bills every month like professional lawyers. Instead he makes you inquire about your bill and when you do he charges you for it! He makes up bogus expenses to steal your money. The only thing Arturo Hernandez is good at is ignoring you and leaving you in the dark about your case. He is very unprofessional and I believe he is a crook! He will bill you for stuff he has not done. Anything to take your money! I would recommend this lawyer to my opposing party but that's about it!

Art helped my husband and I when no one else would. He explained things thoroughly and to the full extent. He only changed us what was to be charged with an extremely minimum processing fee on his end. He always gave us case updates and if I needed additional information, I would contact him and he would contact us back within a few hours to supply the information we were requesting. He was a great attorney and helped us through a very difficult and stressful situation. If I had to do it again, I would choose Art every time.

The worst lawyer I have ever encountered is Art Hernandez. He couldn't manage to file a simple form for me that requires almost no work. After telling me twice that he had filed it, and it still wasn't on casenet 2 weeks since the second time he promised me it was filed, I finally got ahold of him and he said he needed my drivers license number to file, even though he copied my license with the initial paperwork. I tried to give him my drivers license number over the phone, but he stopped me saying he would probably forget and that it would be best if I just went to the DMV myself and get my driving record for him. The only thing he did correctly in my whole 2 1/2 months of trying to get ahold of him, and waiting for a simple form to be filed, was he gave me a refund. Between calls never being returned and being lied to, even saying he had the receipt for the filing fee, but couldn't show it to me because it was at his house, Art is just a shady rat. Anyone who wants council or to be represented in court should not go to him expecting any sort of professionalism or services, even if you pay for it.

Art Hernandez shouldn't even get one star on this review. He took our money, fed us full of empty hope, never to hear from him again. He will be hearing from me soon though, along with my new ligitimate lawyer who practices law with integrity. I don't know how he is still in business.....
