Dr Kiewiet @ Orthopedic Health of KC was an excellent trauma surgeon after my 10' ladder fall (NKC Hospital). Dr. Kiewiet performed calcaneus heel surgery with 8 incisions that healed fast & all follow-up was professional, caring, courteous & efficient.
Thank you for reaching out and giving me the opportunity to provide feedback about my recent visit because the interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and dismissed during a time when I was already anxious and in pain. During my appointment, Dr. Taiber's bedside manner was extremely poor. He spoke to me in a way that felt abrupt and insensitive, and the wording he used made me feel belittled rather than supported. Instead of explaining things calmly or compassionately, he delivered information in a harsh, almost accusatory way. I left the appointment feeling more stressed and confused than when I arrived. I understand that providers can be busy, but patients deserve to feel listened to and treated with respect--especially in a medical setting. This experience was disappointing, and I hope that the feedback helps ensure that other patients don't feel the same way. Thank you for taking the time to review my concerns. Dr was able to answer all my questions and explained in detail my current issues. Very easy to communicate with and did take several minutes of his busy schedule to assure me everything will be just fine! Dr comes highly recommended from the medical community and I would strongly agree
I have seen acouple different doctors in this group as I was in a horrific car accident and was broken head to toe. The office is prompt in getting you to the exam rooms. The doctors I have seen are very informative of what needs to be done and takes the time to explain the procedures and the outcomes of future needs. I am extremely happy with all the services I have had and the many operations that have been performed for me. I have recommended them to many people. They also have an after hours clinic that I have had to visit many times and have been pleased with them also.
