Impact on Client/Opposing Party: The attorney's actions allegedly risked a finding of contempt of court for their client and resulted in the opposing party (the veteran) being deprived of over a month of scheduled parenting time with his child. 3. Alleged Failure in Preparation: The firm's client allegedly failed to produce or read materials relevant to the opposing party's request for make-up time, which detailed the days lost. 4. Case Outcome and Parenting Plan: The court's order ultimately favored the veteran's request, requiring the client to return a portion of the parenting days previously taken.
