Mr Davis handled our family trust. I found him to be very straight forward and he gave me honest answers to my questions even if it was not what I had hoped to hear in some instances. I found him to be very knowledgeable and very helpful.

Charlie Rosene could quite possibly be one of the worst lawyers in the St. Louis area. Even though my legal expenses are covered through legal insurance at my employer, he still found a way for me (as a plaintiff) to lose hundreds of dollars thanks to his poor legal advice. One of the firm's partners saw my case details I had posted on the ARAG legal site, and they passed it to another lawyer in the office that handled my county. Enter Charlie Rosene. It took a few weeks and a couple of follow up calls for Charlie to even get back to me at first. Trying to get him to return a call was a recurring issue during my time working with him, even after acknowledging some calls with a generic 'will call you back' text. Once he drafted and mailed a letter to the people we were legally pursuing, I was pretty excited that things were moving forward. Things were about to go south quick. When I spoke with Charlie in November 2023, he advised that we go ahead and pay for the repair we were seeking prior homeowners to cover. The kicker was that he was providing this advice and couldn't confirm which of the sellers he spoke with, so he obviously didn't take any notes on that call. After months of waiting for a reply and paying for this repair thinking we would get reimbursed after submitting a receipt, we were informed by Charlie that there wasn't much he could do to help us since the people we were going after moved to a state where he is not licensed. Since then, we have tried calling him to see if there's anything else we can do since the defendants still have rental property in the area, only to be met with an always full voicemail and no responses to emails.

Charlie was a terrible attorney in my case other than showing up,"at least he got his moneys worth" , I've paid this attorney to appear for a speeding violation, I've tried to ask questions pertaining to my case and he didn't recommend anything other than what the prosecuting attorney recommended. I do not recommend anyone to have Charlie Maas represent them after my experience. Thank you Charlie for removing yourself from the case without my approval. Charlie has a commutation issue with clients and treats people as if he is a prosecution attorney. I wouldn't want anyone like Charlie's to defend me in a matter that treats his clients the way he's done to me.

Poor communication and follow up. Had a civil case filed through legal services insurance. They responded saying they was interested. I called left a message 3 time before they finally returned our call. Then when I got ahold of them the guy said his partner handle cases in the city and he will have him call me about the case. But definitely asking for all the insurance information before getting off the phone. Then I call 3 time trying to get ahold of this partner that's never around or return calls on cases that they requested. Do better and respect people's time please.

Called to schedule a consultation. Got transferred to someone who spoke very slowly and asked for details on the case. Started by saying he doesn't work in St Louis county because "he's got a enough work down here", then kept trying to jump in as I was explaining, and finally started saying "stop, stop, stop" in the middle of me talking. That's when I hung up, because I am not Charles' child. Entire call, per my phone, was 3 minutes - and that includes talking with reception, waiting on hold, and getting on the phone with Charles. Not like I was being long winded or even had the opportunity to be. Extremely unprofessional and have no intention of calling again.
