This Attorney didn't care about my case he only wanted the funds. He don't even try to represent you as your lawyer, I might as well just gotten someone fresh out of law school who would have done better than him. He would argue with me for know reason and I was the one who should've been upset because of him not trying to help me. It's a big joke to hire this guy. His receptionists more than one was there who help or at least tried to assist me more and better than him. Again, he did not represent me as he should have, he help the other Attorney client to go against me.

Hit and miss with communication and when it is missed it is really missed. (On the opposite end, he might take time out of court to address you as well). Takes on a lot of clients at a smaller fee than others in the area, so don't expect a personal secretary. But approaching a court date, or in matters dealing with status of case, you could not be waiting for a month to two for a reply. Knows the system, and that can be good or bad. (I'm personally waiting to see if it is good or bad in my situation, where four tests were passed to clear my name and the person writing my tickets contradicted herself, though there were positive signs). All the power is given to a lawyer and the people in non civilian roles with the rules in this area, so that is going to have a disempowering feeling, because that's what it is. It's a matter of how far they are willing to go to be dishonest or honest, and for that you will wait and see.

I would not recommend this attorney to anyone. This man is a joke, seriously. It took me a long time to write this review because I was so angry. My husband and I hired him to help with my son's case. My son has never been in trouble and is a very good kid who got caught up with the wrong person. On December 15th, 2022, my son was sentenced to 8 years in jail. This attorney stood in the courtroom and didn't even think to fight for my son. My son wrote a letter to the judge and also had others speak up for him. This day broke my heart to pieces, and I will never forget it. He had no sympathy at all; as a matter of fact, he didn't say one word to me or my husband after leaving the courtroom. My advice to anyone who is of color is to go somewhere else. I wish more could be done in this situation, but God will handle him.

I normal don't post but to be in my honest review . The receptionist at this law firm communicated more to me than my own lawyer . That I paid up front to represent me . Please do your reviews before going with this lawyer . It felt that he was for the other side than fighting for me and what was right . You can tell that he is not for certain people . Sir please do better at your services towards each individual. Deep down inside you know it wasn't fair and poor representation on your part . Just because you a lawyer doesn't mean that you are great at it . It's just a name . Your true character showed . I saw it all in your face sir . Be real with yourself. Also you have a lot of excuses after I make this review . Alot of high class words for a low case lawyer that gets upset when you have questions about the law and not helping to come up with a solution is what bothers me . We come to court just to say lets meet again . Sir the proof is in the pudding . You have low ratings and it speaks for itself. Please evaluate your motives because it will eventually come back and bite you in the rear . Regardless of the outcome , you set on your but and argued with the person who paid you to represent for them . Who does that ! I think you need to take yourself to court .

I used Mr. Kilpatrick and I do have to say, he is outstanding and I will continue to use him as my attorney if I ever need one again. He actually cares about his clients and will go out of his way to help them. It's nice to see people with power that actually care for the less fortuanate. It gave me hope for a better tomorrow. Thank you Mr. L. Kilpatrick for all of your help. You were outstanding.
