Debra helped me get full custody of my daughter 8 years ago. I cannot even express the gratitude that I have for Debra and Lorie. She made a seemingly impossible situation resolve fully in my favor at one court date. She completely changed the trajectory of my daughter's life. It always seems everyone with a negative review shows up on Google. She definitely deserves 5 stars from my family and our case. I'm sure she deserves more positive reviews than she has. She is really impressive in the court room in family law.

Crook! During the $300 consultation, Ms Branan told me she could help me get visitation with my sons for a total of $1500. That was the only time I spoke face to face with the lawyer I hired. Immediately after signing the contract, my only contact was with the receptionist. Who is clearly not qualified to handle any of the workload Debbie puts on her. I would have to email her to ask what was happening with my case, because I never received a single letter, phone call or email unless I initiated. And every single time there was an excuse as to why nothing had been filed, or no progress was made. And every single time it was some how my fault. After 9 months of being lied to, I fired Debra Branan and hired a real lawyer. Only then did I find out how little Branan law firm did. Not only did she never add her name to my case as representation, but she never attempted to call my ex's lawyer or any of the other things the receptionist claimed she did. They would keep talking about child support and being held in contempt, I told them from the beginning that there was an administration error on the out of state case, that I was handling. I never asked for child support help. Yet that is what the receptionist kept going back to. Come to find out it was just a way to buy more time so I would leave them alone. All the while I had not seen my sons in months, and it was clear that Branan couldn't care less. I also found out after hiring the lawyer that sorted my case out in 6 months, that Ms Branan lied about contacting my ex's lawyer. I had to show my receipts because they didn't believe that I had previously hired an attorney. He said that his office never received a call. Making my situation more difficult. But the cherry on top of all of this is that after paying Branan almost $3000, I ask for a refund and she has the nerve to say that I still owe her money ... FOR WHAT ??? She sent a breakdown. Charging hundreds of dollars per email. And phone calls. So I spent three thousand dollars, and not a single motion was filed on my behalf. Not a phone call, not a letter in the mail.. nothing of significance. I told this lady that I don't make much money. And if the total was going to be more that $3000 total then I would have to find help elsewhere. She lies and lies .. I honestly don't think she ever thought twice about me or helping me be reunited with my sons. That's the saddest part of all this. That she is so concerned with money that she doesn't care about the damage she is doing to families. Hiring her made it more difficult because time was wasted. I was looked at as if I was not concerned about seeing my sons. When the entire time, I trusted the wrong person to represent me. I will never get back that time with my sons. And she could care less. So much so that she argued with me that I owe her money still because of everything she did. One of those things being an email from the receptionist, telling me to hire a lawyer in the state where child support was being enforced. That is an actual charge that she sent me. I didn't even know Branans email address until a couple of months ago when I reached out to ask for a refund, only the receptionist email. So just be aware of how she does business. It's shameful but she doesn't care one bit about helping anyone but herself.

Our father died over a year ago and we've been trying to get set in the right direction to settle his affairs. This place has been of almost no help at all. They have procrastinated for over a year and when we think we are getting somewhere, there's always an excuse why we can't move forward. And the people on the phones have quite the know it all, can't do any wrong attitude. Thanks for wasting our time.

The paralegal that Attorney Branan uses should be fired. Attorney Branan your paralegal will run off more business, because of her unprofessional argumentative attitude. Just find someone else to work with don't waste your time.

Ms. Branan is a smart and effective lawyer. I appreciate her fearless, straightforward style and dry humor. With her on my side, I felt confident that my legal needs would be met.
