I had Justin braulic for a DNR case that came about from a previous attorney (with a different law firm) giving me bad advice. I could tell this was a learning experience for Justin as well as myself. But it didn't feel like he was misleading me in any way, he told me exactly what he thought. And what the outcome might be. In the end I was able to do an Alford plea with him which got passed through. Which we weren't explicit enough in the plea and I still lost hunting rights HOWEVER he corrected the mistake free of charge and we got an amended plea within a week and a half to get my rights back. With any DNR case you need to be VERY explicit with anything in the plea, you need to make sure even if a judge approves something the DNR are willing to go along with the plea. It's frustrating and VERY confusing. I would recommend Justin and this law firm to others.

Had the unfortunate experience of talking with Jess today. She was 15 minutes late for the call. Didn't have the correct number was her excuse. She didn't even know who I was when she called. Had the wrong names and talked about divorce. Mine is a custody case. When I tried to ask a question she said she doesn't do legal advice and doesn't have time to work with me. Probably because she doesn't know which clients are which and spends more time backtracking than making progress. I'm grateful I didn't waste my money here. I hope you don't either.

My experience with Heller & Then has been absolutely wonderful. Communication, and making sure everything gets done thoroughly and in a timely matter, was well over my expectations when dealing with lawyers. Working with Jessica was the best route I could have taken, she is very apt to getting everything done in a timely manner and is very professional in getting thing done. I appreciate everything they have done in my case load and would choose them over again if I had to.
