I called to speak with someone concerning Non Profit Law and if this firm handles anything in this sector and the reception after giving some details , he decided to guve me legal advice and state that my case sounds like it's a Malpractice case... I then asked was he an Atty with the firm? He stated, he was just a receptionist and he would transfer me over to a paralegal. I then asked him, why would you then give me a legal statement of what you base my case to be or fall under, when you are only to answer and direct calls to the legal team not give legal advice or your legal opinion thats not the position of a reception!?!?! He then stated, it was just giving his opinion. REALLY What Law firm does this!? A receptionist is to get you over to the paralegal whom takes case notes then refer to I've of the Attorneys for further assistance!
