Several years ago we attended an educational seminar on Trusts held in the Portage office of Carrier Law. We were impressed with the professional, knowledgeable and friendly personnel . All our questions were answered. We decided that we wanted Carrier Law to draft our family trust. Fast forward three years and we met with Attorney James Henke to conduct our first Trust review. We had some stressful times the past few years with involvement in settling another family trust. It was a surprise to us that the property and family home were not in the trust. This was my realization that it's very important to have your trust completed by a law firm to which they specialize in just that. Attorney Henke gave us great legal advise to addressing some new factors within our trust. It's definitely a secure feeling that you have professional, knowledgeable people working for your best interest.

We had our two year delayed annual review with Jim Henke. He answered all our questions and provided insight into changes that were available. A very good experience.

This review is based only upon our initial meeting with Greg VanDeusen in which he explained the firm's services and fees relative to our potential needs. Greg did an excellent job explaining our options and how we can fully protect ourselves, our children, and our assets. Greg answered all our questions and provided further explanation of concepts and various trusts as needed. If searching for estate planning, I would recommend including Carrier Law as an option because we learned about trusts that were not even mentioned by a different firm that we had met with previously.

I found out for them to finalize everything after my mom past away they wanted to charge $8.500 to finalize. I was able to get it done for roughly for $3.500.
