Alana is an excellent family law attorney. At a time when I wasn't sure what to do she gave a clear path forward in settling a large disagreement in my divorce. She always seemed understanding and genuine in our interactions and clear on where she believed the law stood. She was able to help move us towards settlement and avoid litigation in a difficult situation where opposing counsel was of a very different legal opinion and was helpful in knowing where to stand ground or give when weighing the potential cost vs the possible benefit. Alana's approach seemed like one of advisement where I was ultimately making the decisions which I very much appreciated and contrasted heavily from what my ex experienced. Her billing also seemed to be extremely fair and she seemed to be making a concerted effort to keep costs as low as she could for me. I recommend Alana wholeheartedly if you find yourself going through a divorce. Choosing her for representation was one of the best things I chose to do during something that can become highly charged and emotional very easily.
