Vlachos and Vlachos are exceptional attorneys. They have representated our family for decades longer than I have been alive (I'm 34) on a multitude of different matters. Long ago during the legal aid of Kalamazoo times, when my family was introduced to this firm. Our family only goes to Vlachos and Vlachos now. Very polite, respectful and helpful. They have done good to our family! As well as other families I know.

This law firm is a joke, go else were. They literally didn't help me at all and almost made me loose time with my child. I hired them to help me with child custody, I fully understand they have no control over out come, but as far as law firm, absolutely horrible. The attorney hardly cared nor asked about my case or my child or what I wanted or tried to help me in anyway. When we went to the first hearing your attorney advised me to settle. Worst advice. I let it go, second hearing he told me it was a custody hearing to get witnesses. People took work off etc. Only to find out it was child support hearing and the lawyer wasn't ready didn't defend me at all and pretty much just let the other party say and do what they want. Than we did have a custody case coming up. The lawyer quit your law firm. Which now left me with a new lawyer name Nick. Week before my hearing I didn't hear from the law firm I called to speak with my attorney to be told he dont work there and that nick will take over my case and be there the following week. That's when I fired you all for lack of communication, you never helped or was in my best interest, never prepared for my case never notified me of A change of attorney. Never communicated. You didn't do anything for me. Your law office was wrong about every single thing I paid you for. Your law office should be ashamed of how you run your law firm. Than want to send unitemized bills and outlandish charges for services not evan rendered. STAY AWAY FROM THESE NO GOOD LAWYERS.

Nick is a joke. He will play your emotions to give them a "minimum fee" (unrefundable fee no guarantee of any results) Run up a bill doing pointless phone calls, emails anything for billable hours once your minimum fee is destroyed and they have racked up a healthy bill they will refuse to help you. You will be left stuck no results no retainer no child visitations and a steep bill. Nick advice plaintiffs in another case how to piggyback off my custody case and take me to court for grandparenting rights I advise them three times to not talk to the plaintiffs and rack up a bill on my dime he ignored this then billed me for defending me against the plaintiff he advised to piggy back on my case. Very unethical. Update: Nick was on my zoom after being fired for advising the plaintiff and billing me for the matter. Then explains to the judge I left derogatory statements online about his firm. This is on record. He then asks the judge if we can just hang out after being fired to just watch the zoom for his own interest. What a creap. I will be pursing an ethics case against the firm. I highly recommend Mr. Weiss, and if the rest of the firm is anything like him, Vlachos & Vlachos deserves your business. Obviously, hiring an attorney is going to cost some money, but I felt that my lawyer (Brian Weiss) did an excellent job at keeping costs down. I went into his office with a list of all the information that he would need (and a few things that I needed him to find out) and a list of objectives, and in a matter of days, I had all of my primary goals accomplished. He kept me well-informed throughout his work, and I felt that he did an excellent job. He also gave me advice on where to proceed after his work was finished.
