I had been to several other lawyers that only seemed to be concerned about getting the retainer and then possibly speaking to me directly. I offered to pay him for the initial meeting and explain my legal problem to him. I did hire him, and I have to say I was very pleased with the work he did and the way I was treated. He charged me a very fair fee and he had a real interest in the end result.
