Fitzgerald Physical Therapy Associates, Melrose

I've had only good experiences with Fitzgerald Physical Therapy. The staff is always extremely welcoming and Christi has been great to work with. She has helped me gain strength and mobility and helped eliminate some of the pain in my neck and shoulder areas with the exercises and advice she has given me. Thank you all for your help.

As a retired physical therapist of 40 years, I believe in PT wholeheartedly, but have never been the patient. The entire staff at Fitzgerald Physical Therapy absolutely did not disappoint! My experience exceeded all expectations. They were true partners in my recovery. I am so impressed with the entire staff's wealth of knowledge, high level of skill, professionalism, compassion, organization, communication and kind ,respectful and caring attitude. From first contact to last visit, every interaction was pleasant and my needs and goals were readily identified, addressed and met. I am confident that I received the best care possible for multiple injuries sustained in a fall. I have and will continue to happily recommend Fitzgerald PT to friends and family for their PT needs. I have been more than pleased with the care and treatment received at Fitzgerald. Most recently working with Christi, she has been extremely helpful in identifying critical areas requiring specific attention and applying the proper therapy, as well as instructions for continuing to carry on self directed recovery. Alicia and the staff at Fitzgerald are truly amazing. Where other places feel like a factory, Fitzgerald feels like home. I recommend to all my friends in need of PT. I've worked with Alicia for a couple of different issues and she is always so thorough and so thoughtful about personal growth- not just text book injury strengthening. 10/10!

My PCP referred me for physical therapy for rotator cuff degeneration. I was told I could go anywhere that was convenient for me. A friend, a career physical therapist who had gone to Fitzgerald in Melrose for PT, recommended Fitzgerald. My goal was to be able to reach for the car door without pain, to pull shirts off and on over my head, to reach back, get my left arm into my sleeve and to go back to some of my gentle aerobic activities. I can now do all of those things and more, pain free. Christi worked with me over the course of several months, explaining everything we were doing and why. I am one of those people who likes visuals and the portal Fitzgerald uses is great as a reference tool. She asked for updates at the beginning of every session. Christi developed a great series of workout exercises as we progressed. She was always positive and upbeat -- a one woman cheering section. After graduating three weeks ago, I continue with my workout and feel great. I have much greater mobility and my lifelong poor posture has improved as result of the work that we did together. One last shout out to the people at the front desk It makes a difference to walk in and have someone greet you by name with a cheerful hello, acknowledging your presence as you enter and leave the office.
