We worked with Attorney Edward Casey for a special permit hearing in Attleboro Ma. Edward went above and beyond, helped us take care of everything we were having problems with. If I could give him 100 stars I would, highly recommended. Thank you Edward Casey!

First appointment to set up an account with the firm to represent local HOA. Very satisfied with the information the attorney provided as well as explanation of services and fees. I belive we are in good hands having Coogan Smith as our law firm and advisor.

It would have been better to self represent. 1. Attorney Withers showed up to Court with a wrinkled stained blouse, disorderly hair, completely unprofessional. Opposing attorney wearing a suite. 2. Attorney Withers presented an amendment to modify child support due health conditions, loss of income. However Attorney Withers failed to fill out an Income statement so that motion was denied. Opposing attorney would not lets her speak because attorney Withers failed to follow procedures. 3. 4th of Jully, Thanksgiving, Christmas and every holiday in between where missed, for month Ruthanne Withers said the other attorney was not responding. The other attorney presented emails in Court that she was trying to contact attorney Withers repeatedly for months to make Holiday arrangements but Attorney Withers failed to respond. I have a Copy of a rude unprofessional text Ruthanne sent me when she felt disturbed asking her if she made holiday arrangements with the other attorney as the judge ordered. 4. Ruthanne called a Detective to testify. A detective agency was hired to obtain evidence regarding the opposing party. Hiring The detective agency was the recommendation of Attorney Withers. The detective agency cost over $15,000. The lead detective was summoned to testify to the findings. Prior to the court date the detective told Withers that he was not the one that did the detective work, he only wrote the report, he had co-detectives and she needed to summon them as well to testify. According to the Detective attorney Withers told him it was not necessary. When the detective took the stand, he was not allowed to talk or present anything. The reason is his co-workers did the detective work and without them anything he said is hearsay. In less then 1 min $15,000 where flushed down the drain. 5. Attorney Withers made a 3rd motions all 3 where denied. The other lawyer would not let attorney withers speak because of procedures. Abjection, Abjection, Attorney withers lost every motion because she did not know or follow one procedure, one motion after another. 6. After the detective was asked to step down attorney Withers put her head on the desk. Lost, broken, no hope. Watching her behavior was demoralizing. 6. The client 8 Month pregnant, following attorney Ruthanne Withers performance, watching the custody case lost by her attorney, hyperventilated, suffered an anxiety attack. 7. Ruthann goes back in the court room, gave a 1 min final statement, sounding like a person that lost. When the other attorney and judge where speaking Ruthanne put her head back on the desk for over 20 Min. Not lifting it once 2 Month later When the judgement came out it was sent to attorney Ruthanne Withers office because she is the representing attorney. Attorney Withers failed to make contact that a judgment was made. We found out from the other party at the childs pickup drop off. Judgment Against Multiple attempts where made to contact attorney withers about the Judgment, attorney Withers would not reply. The day after we went to attorney Withers office demanding to speak to someone, anyone. Attorney Withers was present but would not come down. No one in this office told us that we had 10 days to appeal the judgement, so the appeal date passed. Her negligence destroyed real lives. She lies and does not know what she is doing. Week attorney at best. As I type Tears are rolling down my eyes from the damage she caused. They keep taking down my review.
